Cindy and her husband Tony moved to Block Island in 1976, and she was employed by Dorothy Sullivan almost immediately. She quickly became an agent, then a broker and purchased the business from the Sullivan family after Dorothy's death. Meanwhile, Tony pastored the Harbor Church and together they raised two children, Rebecca and Jason. Cindy has worked hard to conserve the beauty and ecology of the island and has won the national Chevron Conservation Award, the Block Island Bayberry Wreath award, was a founding member of the Block Island Land Trust and served as Chairman for many years. Currently, she serves on the Block Island Affordable Housing Board as well as operating the real estate agency that is....still the best!

Sandra began her real estate career in Westchester County, New York, where she worked for several independent realtors, and then became a Broker and manager for Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estatte. Sandra achieved the designation of Certified Residential Broker, was active in the WMLS local realty Board and enjoyed teaching for the Board. The Hopf family vacationed on Block Island for 14 years and in 1993 bought their Block Island home at the Painted Rock on Lakeside Drive. Their son John and his bride Jennifer Troy were married on the island in 1995. Son Bill worked summers on BI and, after attending culinary school, became a Chef. The family opened Black Rock Cafe in 2001. Sandra and John fulfilled their dream and moved to Block Island in 1996, becoming full time residents. The love sharing the "Block Island Experience" with grand daughter Olivia, family and friends. Sandra has put her 18 years of experience on the mainland together with her love for Block Island and has been with Sullivan Real Estate for 8 years. She loves helping others fulfill their own Block Island Dream of home ownership.
